Middle School Art and Music Teacher

Implement district-approved curriculum for art and music while developing lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to student needs. Conduct ongoing assessments of student learning, modify instructional methods for individual requirements including special needs, and administer standardized tests. Maintain accurate record-keeping for grading, reporting, and attendance while encouraging parental involvement and ensuring student conduct aligns with district policies. Coordinate with grade-level staff to evaluate curriculum and participate in faculty meetings. Select and requisition instructional supplies, maintain inventory records, and supervise out-of-classroom activities including transportation.
