Job Summary
Head-Royce School is seeking a culturally responsive and flexible middle school Math teacher for 6th grade who is excited about teaching and evolving classroom pedagogy to meet the needs of 21st Century learners. Candidates should have experience in anti-bias pedagogy and a strong understanding of adolescents. Responsibilities include teaching mathematics, serving as an advisor and club sponsor, and participating in community activities such as overnight trips. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or a related field, 2-5 years of teaching experience, and proof of Covid Vaccination and TB clearance. A collaborative and clear communication style with students, colleagues, and parents is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or a related field
- 2-5 years minimum teaching experience
- Demonstrated desire to teach in the Middle School
- Ability to provide proof of Covid Vaccination as well as TB clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degrees/certification in Science, Mathematics, and/or Education
- Experience with Illustrative Math
Additional Requirements
