Job Summary
Middle Office Operations Senior Analyst/Associate at Neuberger (New York, NY) focusing on derivative life cycles, valuations, and middle office functions. Collaborate with Operations, Accounting, Trading, Prime Brokers, and Portfolio Managers; oversee derivative valuations with fund administrators; perform daily/monthly reconciliations of positions, open swaps, and cash; review and process daily cash wires across broker/custodian relationships; research and resolve books & records exceptions; monitor Treasury and Collateral Management exposures; investigate P&L issues; support system automation (STP), efficiency initiatives, and risk mitigation; serve as central point of contact for Portfolio Managers/Traders. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–5+ years in derivatives/middle office operations, strong Excel/MS Office skills, excellent communication, and ability to work in a hybrid NY office (minimum 3 days in office). Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3–5+ years of relevant industry experience in derivatives and middle office operations within asset management, hedge funds, or prime brokerage environments
- Working knowledge of operational aspects of fixed income products, cash, OTC derivatives, and their settlement mechanisms
- Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Team player with high energy, self-starter attitude, and ability to foster team spirit in a global setting
