Job Summary
Officer in Middle Office Operations responsible for leading day-to-day transactional and trade operations, maintaining data accuracy across trading platforms and internal records, delivering high-quality client service, and escalating and resolving complex issues with clients, custodians, brokers, and internal teams. Role requires independent judgment, strong leadership, 4+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelors degree, and proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas); VBA, SQL, and Python are a plus. Will prepare and review client reporting, oversee daily transaction processing, identify operational risks and efficiency opportunities, and apply AI/automation tools to support business objectives. Four days per week in-office in the primary locations (Irvine, CA and Quincy, MA).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, and formulas)
- VBA, SQL, Python are a plus
- Ability to synthesize findings into clear client-ready materials
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in asset management, banking operations, or financial services environments
