Job Summary
Portfolio Services AVP oversees daily account reviews to confirm portfolio health for trading, reporting, and performance activities, acts as primary client-contact for recordkeeping systems and file deliveries, investigates discrepancies, tracks trends, and identifies opportunities to enhance controls and processes. The role emphasizes independent problem-solving, risk management, and collaboration with senior stakeholders, leveraging Excel and Office tools, and applying sound judgment to manage complex issues and drive timely resolution. The position requires leadership of a team supporting multiple clients, design and implementation of client-specific operational solutions, and use of automation ideas to streamline operational tasks while maintaining established procedures and controls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience within custody, portfolio services, middle office, or fund accounting environments
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and attention to detail skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to operate in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities
- Proven ability to meet deadlines while applying technical expertise to resolve daily operational challenges
