Job Summary
Middle Market Underwriter responsible for managing and underwriting assigned middle market book, selecting profitable new business, pricing risks, handling complex or larger accounts (including potential reinsurance placement), monitoring premium growth by territory and agency, developing and maintaining strong relationships with agents through travel, and providing prompt, professional service while coordinating with internal teams to support underwriting initiatives and maintain thorough documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- 2 years of experience in Commercial Lines Underwriting OR 4 years of experience in Commercial Lines Underwriting
