Job Summary
Manage a team of Middle Market Relationship Managers to meet production goals and oversee a portfolio of $500-800MM, serving clients with $15+MM in annual revenue. Develop and execute market strategy aligned with the bank's objectives while acting as the primary face of the bank in the assigned region. Lead credit risk management, grant approvals within delegated authorities, and implement cross-selling strategies with partners to maximize revenue growth. Identify and retain top talent, coach associates, and foster the corporate culture through active community engagement and board memberships. Maintain compliance with all regulations and bank policies.
Required Qualifications
- 4-7 years — Prior experience in middle market, commercial, or corporate lending
- Experience developing and implementing a market strategy to achieve results/goals
- Excellent relationship management and business development abilities
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Sales skills
- Credit acumen
- Experience directing and leading the activities of a team having overall responsibility for strategic planning, goal setting, budget and performance management
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with executive levels
- Experience managing and developing others and the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Proven track record of success in developing new clients and business, including prospecting, sourcing and networking
- Ability to communicate effectively with small and large audiences
- Excellent planning and organization skills with the ability to change course (adaptable) at a moment's notice
- Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills
- Possesses strong computer skills including use of the Microsoft Office suite with the ability to learn new business software, as needed
- Ability to work fully onsite at posted location(s)
- Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job function
Desired Qualifications
- 4-7 years — prior management experience leading a production team and effectively handling employee and customer relations issues
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or training others and teaching coursework as subject matter expert
