Job Summary
Lead a Commercial & Specialty Banking portfolio-management team to support business development through national and regional calling, coordination with bank partners, and management of profitable client relationships. Responsibilities include assisting in review and structuring large complex transactions, presenting to credit officers, negotiating credit terms and legal documentation, underwriting loan presentations to drive growth, monitoring portfolio performance (monthly/quarterly financials, renewals, annual reviews, watch list), and cross-selling lending, depository, and Treasury Management products. The role requires delivering results in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment with a focus on compliance with credit standards, maintaining relationships, and working with Credit, Loan Operations, and Executive Management. Strong communication, organizational skills, leadership experience, and a track record in commercial banking are desired; MBA or related certifications and prior leadership experience are preferred. Travel approximately 25% and office-based with traditional hours; BSA/OFAC compliance awareness is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience in commercial banking
- Related specialty banking or finance experience
