Job Summary
Conduct all types of manual testing for mobile applications and web platforms, including iOS and Android. Review requirements, hunt and report bugs, and create comprehensive test documentation such as checklists, test cases, and bug reports using Jira, Confluence, and TestRail. Participate in Scrum meetings and actively engage in the development and release process while collaborating with Product Owners, developers, and designers. Leverage AI tools to enhance testing coverage and efficiency. This role supports our growing startup focused on helping families improve children's sleep through AI and expert guidance.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
- Hands-on experience testing hybrid or native applications on both iOS and Android platforms
- web application testing
- API testing (using Postman)
- working with DBs (such as Firestore DB and PostgreSQL)
- Experience with using AI tools to improve testing processes, test coverage, and overall product quality (e.g., Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT, and AI-powered features in tools like TestRail, Testmo, and BrowserStack)
- Solid knowledge of testing theory: test processes, test design techniques, and test documentation
- Experience in creating test documentation, including checklists, test cases, test runs, and bug reports, using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and TestRail
- Knowledge of Scrum team processes, roles, and ceremonies
- Ability to quickly understand complex tasks, participate in design and requirements reviews, and work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Designers, and other QAs
- English level - Upper-Intermediate +
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with Sentry, A/B testing tools, and testing of the payment systems on integration level
- Experience in testing of AI-based features
