Job Summary
Middle Level Teacher (Science) at Reynoldsburg City Schools. Serve as instructional leader and mentor for 6-8th grade science; plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction using district curriculum; design inquiry-based lessons, labs, and simulations; lead targeted interventions (Success Labs) and small-group instruction using data tools (MAP, IXL); foster student social-emotional growth; collaborate in Teacher-Based Teams and PLCs; communicate progress with families; ensure classroom routines aligned with PBIS; maintain laboratory safety and manage equipment. Knowledge of MTSS, data analysis, instructional technology, differentiation, and restorative practices; Ohio licensure requirements and compliance with district policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education
- Valid Ohio Teaching License for Middle Childhood (4–9), Adolescent/Secondary (7–12), or appropriate Multi-Age licensure for specific electives
- Ability to pass FBI and State (BCI) background checks
