Job Summary
Middle Level Teacher (Math) for grades 6-8. Responsible for delivering standards-aligned mathematics instruction, planning inquiry-based lessons with tools like Desmos and Zearn, and leading targeted interventions to support academic growth and social-emotional development. Serve as an instructional leader, mentor students, collaborate in Teacher-Based Teams and Professional Learning Communities, maintain family communications, and uphold PBIS frameworks. Duties include facilitating data-driven instruction, delivering Tier 2 interventions, supervising students, and complying with district licensure standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education
- Valid Ohio Teaching License for Middle Childhood (4–9), Adolescent/Secondary (7–12), or appropriate Multi-Age licensure for specific electives
- Ability to pass FBI and State (BCI) background checks
