Job Summary
Provide expert remote and on-site support as the primary escalation point for helpdesk tickets, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues across Windows, macOS, Linux, and peripherals. Assist in deploying and configuring new servers, network hardware, and security protocols while monitoring system health, performing regular backup checks, and ensuring disaster recovery procedures are followed. Proactively maintain the internal IT knowledge base, document new technical procedures, and identify recurring bottlenecks to propose solutions that improve system uptime and user productivity. This role requires at least two years of experience in technical support or system administration with strong networking protocols knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical support or system administration role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A demonstrated history of taking a task from start to finish without being micromanaged
- Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs) and enterprise environments
- Strong analytical skills
- A find-a-way attitude toward technical troubleshooting
