Middle Grades Science Teacher

Plan, organize, and present instruction in middle grades science, delivering individual and group lessons that meet district curriculum and student needs. Develop instructional materials, manage classroom environments, and evaluate academic and social growth while maintaining records. Communicate with parents through conferences and various channels to discuss progress and interpret the school program. Cooperate with professional staff to assess student health, attitude, and learning problems, and participate in faculty committees and student activity sponsorships. Maintain professional competence through in-service education and district-provided growth activities.
