Job Summary
Provide targeted middle grades English Language Arts intervention to support student success; plan and deliver instruction, modify instructional plans to meet diverse needs (including students with disabilities), supervise and engage students, monitor outcomes, maintain records, and collaborate with the principal, colleagues, parents, and community to implement RCSS curriculum and instructional goals. Develop and communicate lesson objectives, utilize effective instructional methods and resources, assess learning and behavior regularly, and participate in after-hours activities as required by RCBOE contract. Maintain classroom environment and safety, support IEPs when needed, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures while contributing to a positive school climate.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or beyond
- Valid Georgia teaching certificate in the teaching field
- Meets Georgia state certification requirements in appropriate field of education
