Job Summary
Develop new features, refactor code, and maintain software using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and NestJS within a scalable microservices architecture. Perform unit and integration testing, conduct peer code reviews, and analyze requirements to prepare detailed designs. Create technical documentation and participate in estimation, grooming, and planning sessions while collaborating with distributed engineering teams and Swedish customer representatives. Engage in conference calls and face-to-face meetings to support the development of digital solutions for pharmaceutical research and drug development.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3+ years of commercial software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React
- Proven production experience with Next.js
- Good experience with Node.js and NestJS
- Strong understanding of scalable API design principles
- Experience working with PostgreSQL databases
- Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with NATS.io or similar event-streaming technologies
- Experience integrating Keycloak or similar IAM/SSO solutions
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems
- Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs
- Understanding of application security best practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Upper-Intermediate English level or higher

- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences projects
- Experience working with scientific or computational platforms
- Familiarity with Python and R for scientific computing workflows
- Experience with regulatory or compliance-sensitive systems
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and distributed systems
