Job Summary
Contract Lawyer for a portfolio client with a focus on UK commercial contracts. The role covers reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and amending service, SaaS, consulting, NDA, partnership, vendor, and customer agreements; adapting non-standard contracts from various parties; ensuring compliance with UK law; risk assessment and actionable recommendations; supporting negotiations with clients and vendors; cross-functional collaboration with business, sales, operations, and finance; managing the full contract lifecycle from drafting through renewal; developing templates and clause libraries; legal research across jurisdictions; maintaining accurate contract records; 3–5 years in similar roles with strong UK contractual experience; English fluency.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as Contract Lawyer, Commercial Lawyer, Legal Counsel, or similar role
- Strong experience with UK commercial contracts and UK legal frameworks
- Experience supporting contracts across multiple jurisdictions
- Proven ability to review and negotiate both standard and highly customized agreements
- Experience with B2B commercial contracts in international business environments
- Strong understanding of contract law, risk assessment, and legal compliance principles
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities simultaneously
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
