Job Summary
Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure efficient, safe operations and adherence to policies, including scheduling mechanics/technicians, managing outside orders, ensuring quality and timely completion of jobs, and meeting customer expectations while safeguarding team safety. Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and under-car repairs, directs workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians, drives sales initiatives, communicates with customers about needed repairs, and strives to deliver high-quality repair and maintenance with customer satisfaction. Both roles require a minimum of automotive parts/tire sales experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment within a Midas/Mavis ecosystem in Toledo, OH. Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience/training in automotive parts and/or tire sales
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift/move items weighing over 50 pounds
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Ability to oversee scheduling for mechanics/technicians and manage workflow
