Job Summary
Leadman responsible for inspecting, repairing and installing equipment for underground and surface mining operations. Duties include participating in safety programs, maintaining effective communication across operations, conducting regular inspections, enforcing safety rules, completing daily production, safety, and maintenance reports, operating heavy mobile equipment, supervising or coordinating team activities, and training workers in equipment operation and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- 4+ years related experience
- Valid US driver's license
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Production equipment operation, Troubleshooting, OSHA and MSHA regulations, Time management, Problem solving skills, Detail oriented, Communication and leadership skills
