Job Summary
Lead systems engineering for Sensor to Shooter software solutions in a government-focused, employee-owned company. Collaborate with customers and developers to plan features, deliverables, costs, and schedules; translate requirements into wireframes and designs; troubleshoot software issues; develop mission use cases, test cases, and scripts to support troubleshooting and testing; create and maintain CDRLs; and produce presentations and program documentation. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences; contribute to program strategy and risk/opportunity identification across multiple projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SSBI and SCI eligibility
- Experience with Agile software development lifecycle and use of associated tools
- 10+ years of experience as a systems engineer supporting the development of software systems for Government programs
- Exceptional leadership, time management, organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional analytical skills and problem solving skills
- High level of self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively in small team settings to solve complex problems
- Proven track record of success supporting the Government and/or Prime Contractors to deliver operational systems
