Mid / Senior Software Engineer and Architect

Job Summary
Design, build, test, and maintain robust software solutions to support the company's commercial imperatives in fintech, payments, and retail banking. Envision technology architectures that align with feedback from in-country operations teams and sales networks while managing mission-critical, 24x7 production systems. Lead projects using Zoho for UI and Deluge backend functions on AWS, integrating payment APIs, loan origination tools, and mobile applications. Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to troubleshoot system challenges and implement Infrastructure-as-code principles for rapid, collaborative pipelines.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be based in CT
- Candidates must be in office at least 50% of the time
- 4 or more years of software engineering experience with commercially successful systems in fintech, payments, retail banking, credit, e-commerce or logistics
- Recent experience in architecture and technical leadership of projects within these industries
- Demonstrated expert knowledge and management of a mission critical, 24x7 production system
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills, to identify and troubleshoot system and integration challenges
- Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams
- Experience in cloud-based systems
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-code, rapid and collaborative code pipelines and other DevOps principles
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AWS serverless products and infrastructure as code, Terraform or Cloudformation
