Job Summary
Mid-Senior Software Developer to join SEB's Trading team in the Savings & Investments Tribe. Build and maintain applications, collaborate with business developers (analysts) to ensure smooth delivery and quality, investigate and resolve issues quickly and effectively, create and maintain technical documentation, and work in a highly autonomous team that owns scope, planning, and delivery. Requirements include 3+ years Java (Spring Boot) and 3+ years TypeScript (Angular), strong databases/ storage knowledge (PostgreSQL, Redis, S3, Hibernate), build/deploy tool experience (Maven, Docker, OpenShift, Argo CD, Jenkins), testing practices (JUnit, Playwright), REST API/JSON/XML/Tomcat/Logback/Ehcache, excellent analytical skills, time management, Fluent English, and a proactive mindset. Hybrid work arrangement with at least 3 days in the office at the Riga location. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with Java (Spring Boot)
- 3+ years of experience with TypeScript (Angular)
- Strong knowledge of databases and storage (e.g., PostgreSQL, Redis, S3, Hibernate)
- Experience with build and deployment tools (Maven, Docker, OpenShift, Argo CD, Jenkins)
- Familiarity with testing practices (e.g., JUnit, Playwright)
- Solid understanding of modern tech stack (REST API, JSON/XML, Tomcat, Logback, Ehcache)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage your time effectively and prioritize tasks independently
- Fluent English
- A proactive, positive, can-do mindset
- Hybrid setup – at least 3 days/week in the office
