Job Summary
Mid-Level and Senior Cloud Engineer / Cloud Administrator at Oteemo. Administer and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure supporting mission systems and development environments; manage Kubernetes platform operations; administer Linux-based environments; support hybrid cloud networking and secure connectivity; implement automation using scripting and Infrastructure as Code; monitor platform health and performance; assist with cloud optimization and cost management; implement security controls and compliance for Navy-accredited cloud environments; collaborate with DevSecOps on CI/CD pipelines; document architectures and procedures. Requires Active Secret Clearance, 5 years of cloud infra experience, Azure, Kubernetes, Linux administration, and onsite work in College Park, MD (minimum 3 days/week). Senior role also expects leadership, cloud-architecture guidance, and strategy support; certifications in Security+/CySA+/GSEC/CCNA Security and operating system and Azure-related trainings are required or expected, with proof provided.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance
- 5 years of experience administering cloud infrastructure environments
- Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Azure cloud environments
- Experience supporting Kubernetes platforms and containerized applications
- Experience administering Linux operating systems in enterprise environments
- Experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, networking, and platform services
- Experience working within government, defense, or regulated environments preferred
- Ability to work onsite a minimum of three days per week in College Park, MD
- (1) Senior Cloud Admin: Requires a cloud administrator with 8+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and Linux administration. This individual will also serve as the team lead, guiding team direction and supporting the program's cloud architecture and strategy.
- (2) Mid-Level Cloud Admin: Requires a cloud administrator with 3–5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and Linux administration.
