Job Summary
BAS Technician responsible for programming, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning and servicing of commercial Building Automation System equipment; on-call after-hours service as necessary; training participation; accurate paperwork and timekeeping; identify and implement BAS energy and performance improvements; calibration and repair of control systems; installation and service of HVAC-related instrumentation; system diagnostics from controllers to end devices; data collection for system improvements; use of test instruments; installation and service on assigned projects; provide technical support and training to customers; maintain customer satisfaction and adhere to safety and documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a Technical/Trade School and/or five (5) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess certifications in at least two (2) BAS platforms.
- Certifications in Tridium AX, Tridium N4, Distech, and/or Siemens is a plus.
