Job Summary
Mid Range Mine Engineer responsible for developing and delivering executable mine plans aligned with the Life of Mine strategy and annual budgets, optimizing mine sequencing, haulage and waste dump design, and delivering stockpile, leach, and dump plans with supporting economic analysis. Supports digital and autonomous mining readiness by designing and integrating planning outputs with fleet management, AHS/ADS, and data-driven workflows. Collaborates across operations, maintenance, processing, and technical teams; communicates plans, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders up to the GM level; ensures governance, regulatory, and environmental compliance; produces technical reports and KPIs and supports continuous improvement of planning methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline
- 5–7+ years of experience in open pit hard-rock mine planning
- Eligibility for PE registration
