Job Summary
Mid- or Senior-level Software Engineer required to redesign warehouse management systems and processes, design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable Python-based services using Django and FastAPI, and contribute to architectural decisions. You will own technical decisions, participate in agile ceremonies, write RFCs, and share knowledge while working in a hybrid Berlin office (20 in-office days per quarter with remote days available) and with the possibility to spend up to 6 weeks per year working from EU countries. The role requires several years of professional experience with Python and Django or FastAPI, distributed systems and cloud tech (preferably GCP), Linux/Unix proficiency, a passion for testing and clean code, strong English communication, and a valid work permit. The tech stack includes Python, Django, FastAPI, Celery, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, React, TypeScript, Google Cloud, and testing/quality practices.
