Job Summary
Mid-Market Account Executive for the Emerging Markets vertical, responsible for managing prospects from lead to close, providing an exceptional customer experience, articulating and demonstrating Gong's value proposition, cultivating lasting relationships with customers, running pilot programs, and maintaining weekly sales forecast to achieve quarterly quotas. The role involves navigating multiple decision-makers in complex deals, leveraging outbound prospecting to pursue net new business across financial services, healthcare, consulting, manufacturing, and energy industries, with remote-friendly and in-office collaboration in Salt Lake City. The position requires experience in SaaS/enterprise software and a track record of closing deals at high values, and candidates should be adept at communicating effectively with VP/C-suite stakeholders and driving the full sales cycle.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant closing experience
- outbound SDR/BDR experience
- sold to Financial Services, Healthcare, Consulting, Manufacturing or Energy organizations (preferred)
- Previous SaaS and enterprise software experience
- clear examples of consistently closing deals at $50-$250K+
- Outbound prospecting experience into greenfield territory
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals (President’s Club, Rep of the Year, etc.)
- Comfortable selling to VP, C-Suite executives, and sales leaders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit
