Job Summary
Provide premium IT and AV/VTC support to executives, managing day-to-day operations of Video Teleconference Center (VTC) systems, including endpoint troubleshooting, room AV hardware, codecs, cameras, microphones, and displays. Respond to help desk tickets, set up virtual meetings, escalate incidents, perform preventive maintenance and software/firmware updates, lead process improvements with partners to integrate technologies, support computing hardware/software and networking needs for executives, create user training and quick reference guides for common VTC tasks, and deliver comprehensive computing support from desktops to servers in isolated environments. Coordinate with internal/external teams to ensure security requirements and deliver superior customer service, including on-call and flexible hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Active Security+ certification or ability to obtain the certification within 6 months of start date
- 3+ years of experience with Audio Visual (AV) and Video Teleconference (VTC) components, systems, products, and equipment
- 3+ years of experience in performing system administration tasks on Windows and Linux hosts including installing security patches and making configuration changes to support security requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting computing in isolated environments for desktops and servers
- 3+ years of experience with troubleshooting and repairing computing system hardware and software
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience (preferred)
- Experience in an IT environment as a team lead (preferred)
- Experience with Customer Service
- Experience with Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems (Server 2003-2016, Windows 7/10)
