Job Summary
Mid-Level Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated testing strategies for software systems supporting mission-critical operations. Lead automated testing efforts, validate system integrations, and ensure high-quality software delivery across Agile development teams. Develop and maintain automated test suites, perform REST API testing, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects, and document test plans and defect reports. Requires strong proficiency in automated testing frameworks, REST API testing, JavaScript/TypeScript, and experience with CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and various testing tools.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) to Five (5) years of professional software testing experience
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and methodologies
- Experience with REST API testing and validation
- Proficiency with Cypress or similar end-to-end testing frameworks
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript or TypeScript (preferably)
- Experience testing microservice architectures (preferably)
- Familiarity with testing in containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes (preferably)
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
- Experience mentoring junior test engineers (preferably)
- Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
