Job Summary
Manage and optimize Linux-based production and non-production environments while supporting hybrid infrastructure across AWS and on-premises. Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using Ansible and build, maintain, and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery. Monitor system health and performance using observability tools, deploy containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes, and perform routine database administration including backups and troubleshooting. Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures. Join a strategic project within the digital payments industry to ensure the reliability and scalability of critical infrastructure powering modern payment services.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional experience in a SysOps, Systems Administration, or Infrastructure Operations role
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux system administration
- Experience managing infrastructure in AWS and on-premises environments
- Proficiency with Ansible for infrastructure automation and configuration management
- Experience designing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration and application deployment
- Experience with observability, logging, and monitoring solutions
- Understanding of database operations, including routine maintenance, backups, and performance monitoring
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with scripting (Bash, Python, or similar) is considered an advantage
