Job Summary

Conduct structural analysis tasks using defined tools to validate systems and components against requirements. Perform stress, durability, and damage tolerance analyses for aircraft structures. Test and execute Individual Aircraft Tracking (IAT) software tools while analyzing usage and condition data with structural integrity analytics. Prepare routine usage and condition reports for the ASIP team supporting commercial derivative military aircraft. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 3+ years of structural analysis experience. Full-time role in Tukwila, WA with a U.S. Security Clearance requirement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
  • 3+ years of experience in structural, mechanical, or aeronautical engineering
  • 3+ years of experience with structural analysis methods and repair principles (e.g., fatigue and corrosion, stress analysis, statics, materials strength, material characteristics, repair techniques, damage tolerance)
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
  • Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start
  • U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee status

Desired Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in structural, mechanical, or aeronautical engineering
