Job Summary
Mid-level Spectrum Manager responsible for EMS policy and management support for the Navy-Marine Corps Spectrum Center (NMSC). Roles include procuring, assigning, and protecting radio frequencies, preparing engineering data for frequency and telecommunications matters for national/international meetings, analyzing radio equipment and propagation data to resolve conflicts in frequency assignments, coordinating with federal and international officials, and assisting in DoD policy discussions to optimize spectrum efficiency for DoN use. Requires 5–10 years of spectrum management experience, an AA or equivalent training (IRFMS/Army/Navy programs), and US citizenship with an active DoD Secret clearance. Location in Fort Meade, MD; role involves in-person participation in meetings and international/national working groups.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Arts (AA) Degree or graduate of IRFMS or Army Spectrum Management Course or Navy Fleet Spectrum Manager Course
- Experience: five to ten years in spectrum management related to the duties described
- US Citizenship with active DoD Secret clearance
