Mid Level Software Engineer- Secret Clearance

Job Summary
Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software applications while troubleshooting production problems and conducting unit testing. Collaborate with project teams and end users to identify requirements, resolve system integration and compatibility issues, and recommend application software packages. Act as a team leader by instructing, assigning, and directing the work of other developers, and participate in code reviews and system test processes. Address defects and suggest improvements to software products, while assisting in the development of user manuals. This full-time, on-site role requires a secret security clearance and US citizenship, with availability during standard Pacific Time hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering/technical discipline from an accredited college
- 3-5 years of software engineering experience
- Masters degree
- 2 years software engineering experience
- PhD degree
- 1 year software engineering experience
- Knowledge of software engineering standard concepts, best practices and procedures
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience in developing and maintaining software applications and computer systems
- Knowledge and experience with CMMI engineering process areas
- Working experience with product(s) and components used within NIDS II
- Experience providing software engineering experience of complex systems
- Experience with Coding Standards
- Experience with Design Patterns
- Experience with Object-Oriented Design
