Job Summary
Maintain and enhance backend services using Java and Spring Boot while updating requirements, libraries, and dependencies to ensure security and maintainability. Analyze code changes from framework upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements based on customer and program requirements. Collaborate with developers and system engineers to deliver solutions, participate in Agile ceremonies, and support deployments within Linux and Docker environments. Work between core hours of 10AM-2PM. This role supports mission-critical enterprise applications for Space, Property, and Transportation Management at Belay Technologies, a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business providing leading technology solutions to the DoD and commercial sectors.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
- A bachelor's degree
- Six (6) years of experience in software development/ engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Ten (10) years of software development experience (substitutable in lieu of a bachelor's degree)
- Experience with Java development
- Experience with a JavaScript framework such as Angular
- Experience developing in the Linux operating system
- Experience with Docker for containerized application deployment and management
- Must be able to work between the core hours of 10AM-2PM
Desired Qualifications
- AWS experience
- Experience in an Agile development environment
- Experience working with the Atlassian Tool Suite
- Experience with Python
- Experience with GitLab for version control
