Job Summary
Mid-level Proposal Manager/Writer to support cradle-to-grave proposal development for Federal Government clients. Responsibilities include coordinating and managing proposals, drafting technical, management, staffing, and past performance content, ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements, collaborating with subject-matter experts and capture managers, developing compliant and compelling proposal content, and providing professional formatting and high-impact graphics. Requires 4-6 years of proposal development experience, a Bachelor’s Degree, ability to work onsite up to four days/week on a hybrid schedule in McLean, VA, and strong writing/communication skills. The role involves analyzing solicitations, building outlines and compliance matrices, and supporting a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4-6 years or more of experience developing and writing responses to Government Requests for Proposals
- Ability to deliver client-ready materials under strict deadlines
- Strong graphics creation experience (tables, org charts)
- Experience with Shipley or structured proposal development methodologies preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and Google Docs, Adobe Professional
