Job Summary
Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer to join Las Colinas team to spearhead the design of high-stakes, mission-critical HVAC and mechanical systems; lead BIM documents in Revit MEP; perform energy modeling and calculations; coordinate with architectural, civil, electrical, and technology stakeholders; interface with clients and equipment vendors; support construction administration activities and junior staff development; focus on HVAC/hydronic systems for mission-critical facilities including aviation and government projects.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from an accredited university
- Experience: 3–6 years of progressive experience within an MEP consulting environment
- Software Proficiency: Revit MEP and load analysis software (HAP, TRACE 700, or equivalent)
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of mechanical and energy codes, ductwork sizing, and piping design guidelines
- Travel: Ability to travel approximately 10% for project-based site visits
