Mid-Level Lead Systems Engineer/Analyst

Job Summary
Develop and review plans, reports, and design documentation to ensure system and software operations meet requirements. Provide technical expertise in data analysis through verification and validation processes, utilizing strong organizational skills to collaborate with internal and external team members. Create post-processing analysis tools and visualizations to evaluate system performance, perform detailed performance analyses, and suggest architectural enhancements. Remediate V&V results as required, record and close defects via JIRA tickets, and participate in customer meetings and reviews. This role offers potential transition into a Team Lead position based on demonstrated expertise.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience with software development, modeling and simulation, and/or data analysis
- 5+ years of leading technical teams and driving complex technical initiatives
- Demonstrated desire to lead and develop a high-performance technical team
- Ability to perform evaluations of various software related products and cover assessments of software products through all phases of the development life cycle, including software specifications, design verification, coding, testing and results data validation
- Ability to configure necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete analysis
- Knowledge of military and software development industry standards, or other software standards and software requirement
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux technologies
- Good organizational skills in keeping structural repositories (GIT, SharePoint)
- Experience with automated testing environment, frameworks, and programming languages
- Ability to learn and adapt to customer's Environment and Processes
- Candidate must be knowledgeable of requirements and data used for analysis
- Must have an active Secret clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience reviewing requirements and design documents
- Understanding of air and missile defense systems and Command and Control
- Fundamental skills in programming: C, C++, Java, Python, html, MatLab
