Job Summary
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment while preparing, organizing, and processing research samples and testing materials. Conduct laboratory experiments and testing using engineering equipment, then collect, record, and organize research data using laboratory instruments and computer systems. Analyze experimental results, prepare reports and presentations, and manage laboratory inventory and equipment readiness. Provide technical support to scientists and engineers while assisting in evaluating new equipment, processes, and technologies. This contract role requires a Master's or Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2–5 years of experience, full-time on-site hours from 08:00 AM, and a salary range of $27.29 to $35.29 per hour. Candidates must pass drug screenings and criminal background checks.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating, testing, or maintaining laboratory, industrial, or engineering equipment
- Basic engineering and programming skills
- Experience with at least one programming language (Python, C#, or C++)
- Strong data collection, analysis, and reporting skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Must be able to pass drug screenings and criminal background checks
- Must be able to work full-time on-site
- Ability to maintain laboratory safety and regulatory compliance
- Ability to support research activities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
