Job Summary
Conduct geological field investigations and site assessments while managing drilling operations, including soil and groundwater sampling. Analyze and interpret geological data to support environmental projects and prepare detailed reports documenting field activities. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement project plans. Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff and subcontractors, maintaining accurate records and databases of geological findings. This role is based in the Central NJ / Philadelphia area and requires specific driving duties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in drilling operations and geological fieldwork
- Strong knowledge of geological principles, drilling techniques, and environmental regulations
- Proficiency in using geological software and tools
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to pass a motor vehicle records check required by our insurer
- Must be available for specific driving duties
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Geology or a related field
- Professional Geologist (PG) certification
- Experience with environmental remediation projects
