Job Summary
Seeking a Mid-Level Environmental Scientist or Geologist with 3-7+ years of experience in field and office environmental consulting. Responsibilities include case management, preparing work plans, data evaluation, and overseeing environmental remediation projects. The role requires excellent communication skills and knowledge of NY environmental regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Geology, Environmental Science or related discipline
- Hands on field and office based experience in environmental consulting field
- Ability to independently prepare a complete deliverable report with focus on QA/QC
- Must be agreeable to periodic overnight travel in the Northeast region
Desired Qualifications
- 3-7+ years of related experience
- Experience with environmental consulting
- Experience in case management on retail petroleum and/or industrial projects
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills
- Working knowledge of NY environmental regulations
- Experience with environmental permitting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, geologic logging/cross section programs
