Job Summary
Mid-Level Engineer role focused on advanced simulations, AI/ML and military tech integration for OUSD; leads AI meetings with external parties, collaborates with lead engineers to define subsystem requirements, conducts feasibility studies of AI products/services in market contexts, stays current on market trends, and develops and documents software specifications across the project life cycle, including verification protocols with integration and test teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in web design, computer science, mathematics, or engineering
- Ten (10) years of engineering experience
- Eight (8) years’ experience in technology scouting and red teaming or wargaming
- Eight (8) years’ experience in red team events, tabletop exercises, or wargames
- Five (5) years’ experience developing CONOPS
- Five (5) years’ experience coordinating with Joint Staff, Military Services, and warfighters
- Security Clearance: TS/SCI
- Experience with one or more areas in PWS Section 5.1.1 (TS/SCI (SAP eligible))
