Job Summary
Manage Kubernetes cluster lifecycle, develop Helm charts, and integrate GitOps tools with CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable software delivery. Utilize Ansible for infrastructure automation and oversee high-availability strategies across multiple service centers. Support systems using MongoDB, manage Elasticsearch clusters and Logstash pipelines, and ensure cluster performance and data ingestion. Collaborate with software developers, test engineers, and security teams while leading technical discussions and developing program review materials. Requires TS/SCI clearance with MD polygraph, 10 years system engineering experience, and a bachelor's degree. Part of ICAM team supporting DoW with Zero Trust and secure Agile development.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI with MD polygraph
- 10 years system engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
- 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree for a total of 15 years
- Experience with Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management
- Experience developing and maintaining Helm charts for application deployment and configuration
- Experience with GitOps tools and CI/CD pipeline integration
- Infrastructure-as-Code and automation experience utilizing Ansible
- Understanding scalability and high-availability strategies with deployments across multiple service centers
- Experience with PKI and certificate-based authentication
- Familiarity with REST APIs and service-based architecture
- Experience managing Elasticsearch clusters, Logstash pipelines, and Kibana dashboards
- Experience supporting systems using MongoDB
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead technical discussions and brief technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience developing program review materials
- Experience using JIRA and Confluence
