Job Summary
Mid-Level DevOps Engineer required to support a U.S. Government contract. Responsibilities include building release pipelines to enable fast, but safe delivery of production software; developing and maintaining CM practices with Git including branching/merging; acting as technical lead in Agile ceremonies; automating deployments across development, test, staging, and production using scripting languages and automation tools; configuring and maintaining deployment infrastructure with Puppet and Ansible; maintaining documentation tools (Confluence/Jira); designing and improving service stack, monitoring, and availability; leveraging Python/Ruby/Java/C/C++ and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) to enable scalable, reliable infrastructures; setting up CI environments with Jenkins/Bamboo and container technologies; working cross-functionally with customers, developers, testers, and operations; and ensuring confidentiality of processed data. Location: Columbia, MD; salary range $115,000-$190,000; full-time with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Active or rein-stateable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
- 10+ years of related experience
