Job Summary
Evaluate and recommend database management system products, define file organization and security procedures, and maintain Oracle systems on Linux for validated user requirements. Manage backup and recovery operations for servers, perform quality control of ingest and transform processes, and execute rudimentary Linux administrative functions. Document entity relational diagrams and Oracle configurations while ensuring compliance with government-wide system design standards. Requires 4+ years of Oracle administration and 3+ years of Linux experience, plus an active TOP SECRET clearance and US citizenship. Located in Huntsville, AL, this onsite role supports a federal agency project with a Major Prime.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizens with active ACTIVE TOP SECRET clearance
- Active TOP SECRET clearance
- Undergo background investigation
- Undergo a drug test
- Over 5-6 years of information technology experience
- 4+ years of Oracle database administration experience
- 3+ years of Linux administration experience
- Multiple Information Technology certifications
- Knowledge of Government-wide system design, information technology equipment and services
- BS degree at minimum
- Experience can be substituted in some cases in lieu of BS degree at the discretion of the government
Desired Qualifications
- MS SQL databases admin experience
