Job Summary
Advise institutional investors, developers, and private equity clients on commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings across diverse asset classes. Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, loan documents, commercial leases, and joint venture agreements while managing due diligence on title, survey, environmental, and zoning reviews. Support clients with day-to-day operational matters such as lease amendments, assignments, and tenant issues, and advise on development projects from entitlement through completion. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across tax, construction, and planning areas. Requires a J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with 4–6 years of experience and bar admission in the state of location preference. Interviews can be arranged within a few days.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentials
- 4 – 6 years of commercial real estate experience at a nationally recognized law firm
- Admission to the bar in the state of location preference (or ability to become admitted promptly)
- Demonstrated experience in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Experience with multi-jurisdictional transactions
- Familiarity with real estate development and capital markets structures
- Exposure to institutional clients, private equity funds, and REITs
