Job Summary
Mid-level Civil/Structural Engineer with 4–8 years of experience to manage 3–5 projects from assessment through repair, lead teams of engineers/drafters/technicians, and ensure technical excellence within schedule and budget. Responsible for evaluating existing structures for deterioration and compliance with current codes, designing and analyzing structural repairs and retrofits using ACI design codes and other industry standards, and collaborating with construction teams to integrate repair solutions. Will review and produce engineering drawings, calculations, and reports focused on structural repair; conduct site visits and inspections; coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to drive project success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering
- 4 to 8 years of experience in structural engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure
- Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, RISA, or equivalent
- Experience applying ACI design codes for structural repair and rehabilitation
- Experience working with construction teams and understanding constructability
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong technical writing skills
