Job Summary
Design solutions by defining technical approaches for business problems within an architectural vision. Ship working code using React, Kotlin microservices, Postgres, and Ruby on Rails while assessing new technologies. Deploy and iterate frequently via CIrcleCI and Spinnaker, gathering customer feedback to inform next iterations. Monitor services to catch errors before users notice them, diagnosing root causes and deploying fixes. Build competency by working with experienced colleagues and utilizing an L&D budget for technical development. This role expands the London-based Engineering team, focusing on delivering code that solves real problems for internal and external customers.
Required Qualifications
- You probably have a degree in a STEM subject
- Experience working at a similar level in a mature Engineering team
- Technical expertise with at least one programming language
- ideally experience with relational databases
- Proven track record – You've made a demonstrable impact in your previous roles
- Highly driven and proactive
- Meticulous
