Job Summary
Manage loan origination for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity. Lead asset management and workout efforts while executing secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies. Run transactions on behalf of borrowers and lenders from inception through closing and post-closing. Submit a cover letter, resume, deal sheet, and law school transcript. JD and active bar admission in the practice jurisdiction are required. Compensation ranges from $240,000 to $390,000 with a discretionary performance bonus. Required Qualifications
- high level of academic achievement
- large law firm experience in real estate finance law
- superb writing and communication skills
- 3-6 years of broad real estate finance experience
- experience with loan origination work for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity
- asset management and workout experience
- ability to run transactions on behalf of borrowers and lenders from inception through closing and post-closing, including secondary market repurchase facility work, and other exit strategies
- ambition, drive, and team orientation

- active bar admission in the jurisdiction in which the candidate intends to practice
