Job Summary
Mid-level Archaeology Technician (Archaeology Technician III) for immediate employment. Remote opportunity reporting to PNW Cultural Resources; part-time, on-call; fieldwork in Oregon and Washington; travel overnight required; duties include gathering records of scientific data, environmental sampling, assisting with calculations, operating equipment, maintaining project documentation, data entry, applying technical principles under supervision. Also includes Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location and preference for a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology/Archaeology; 5+ years field methodologies and GIS experience are preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license, US citizenship, and be willing to travel for field sessions; projects mainly in Oregon and Washington; travel overnight may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduates plus 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education with archaeological fieldwork in the PNW region.
- Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
- US Citizenship is required.
