Job Summary
Cashier for the 10p-6a shift responsible for completing sales transactions, operating the register, assisting with stocking and cleaning, and delivering fast and friendly service. Responsibilities include maintaining attendance, providing high-quality customer service, promoting teamwork, ensuring safety for store and customers, completing paperwork per company standards, following guidelines, operating all assigned equipment safely, and performing additional duties as requested by management. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, stand for long periods, and lift up to 45 pounds while handling equipment such as registers and other office devices.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work a flexible shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must perform basic mathematics and count back change
- Must be able to stand up for at least an 8-hour shift
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and managers
- Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion
- Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as work with phones, computers, fax machines, copiers, and other office equipment
