Job Summary
Support development of scalable data architectures and analytics solutions, including designing data pipelines, maintaining processing workflows, and deploying machine learning models. Integrate multiple enterprise data sources, establish data governance and metadata management processes, and perform exploratory data analysis for mission analytics. Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to deliver analytics solutions while managing multiple efforts in a fast-paced contracting environment. Requires on-site presence five days a week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or analytics
- Experience with data analytics tools, cloud data platforms, or machine learning frameworks
- Active Secret security clearance
- Ability to work on-site 5 days a week
- Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
- Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
- Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
Desired Qualifications
- Master Degree Preferred
- Experience supporting DoD, CDAO, Joint Staff, or federal data modernization initiatives, including AI/ML, advanced analytics, and enterprise data management programs
- Experience with cloud-based analytics and data engineering platforms such as AWS, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Python, Spark, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar technologies
- Relevant certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate, AWS Data Analytics Specialty, or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience
